Welcome to MotorhomeMates.com, the social networking website for motorhome, campervan and caravan fans. Motorhome Mates is an online service that allows our members to set up unique personal profiles where they can view each others' profiles, communicate with old friends and meet new friends, share photos, post journals and comments and discuss their interests. To enrich our members' experience, we request and display some personal information to other members and visitors, which allows our users to identify each other and expand their network of friends.

INFORMATION COLLECTED BY MOTORHOME MATES
When you register with Motorhome Mates you submit certain personal information, such as your name, your email address, your telephone number, your address, your gender and any other personal or preference information that you provide to us.

USE OF INFORMATION USED BY MOTORHOME MATES
Profile information is used by Motorhome Mates primarily to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the service and to be presented to others permitted to view that information by your privacy settings. Your name, network names, and profile picture thumbnail will be available in search results across the Motorhome Mates network and those limited pieces of information may be made available to third party search engines. This is primarily so your friends can find you and send a friend request. People who see your name in searches, however, will not be able to access your profile information unless they have a relationship to you (friend, member of your groups, etc.) that allows such access based on your privacy settings. We will use your name so that we can personalize your experience. We will use your email address to contact you from time to time and we will use your email address for security reasons to confirm that you are who you say you are. You can control the types and frequencies of certain emails you receive. Generally, you may opt out of such emails, though Motorhome Mates reserves the right to send you notices about your account even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.
We may use the non-personally identifiable information, like your IP address, to statistically analyze site usage and to customize our site's content, layout and services. The resulting information will allow us to improve our site and better understand and serve our users.

YOU CONTROL WHO SHARES YOUR INFORMATION
Your profile information will only be given to friends you have specifically agreed to share such information with and to other members of groups you choose to belong to. You can limit the access of certain personal information such as email addresses and date of births.
CHANGING OR REMOVING INFORMATION
Access and control over most personal information on Motorhome Mates is readily available through the profile editing tools. Motorhome Mates users may modify or delete any of their profile information at any time by logging into their account. Information will be updated immediately. Individuals who wish to deactivate their Motorhome Mates account may do so at any time. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to members of Motorhome Mates. Where you make use of the communication features of the service to share information with other individuals on Motorhome Mates, (e.g., sending a personal message to another Motorhome Mates user) you generally cannot remove such communications.

INTERNET AWARENESS
Whenever you voluntarily post personal information in public areas, like journals, web logs, message boards and forums, you should be aware that this information can be accessed by the public and can in turn be used by others to send you unsolicited communications. Please exercise discretion in deciding what information you disclose.
CHILDREN
Children under the age of thirteen (13) are not eligible to use our service and must not submit any personal information to us.

Motorhome Mates may share profile information in a non-personally identifiable manner to advertisers and other third parties in order to present to members more targeted advertising, products and services. Advertisements that appear on this web site may be delivered to users by MotorhomeMates.com or our advertising partners. Our Web advertising partners may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. In this way, ad servers may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. CANCELLING MEMBERSHIP
You always have the option to cancel your membership at any time. If you are a member and no longer wish to participate in Motorhome Mates you can sign in to the site and click on the 'My Account' at the top of the page; then click on Edit my Profile, at the bottom of this page click on the delete button.
